'Wine & Dine' on Valentine's Day
NORCROSS, Ga. -- Treat your sweetheart to a romantic evening in historic Norcross on Valentine's Day.
The city has planned a romantic series of events for Thursday, Feb. 14.
Norcross public relations and marketing manager Tixie Fowler said the fun includes horse-drawn carriage rides, a kissing booth and an opportunity to renew marriage vows in front of a city judge.
Local restaurants will offer special Valentine's Day dinners and champagne, while shops and art galleries will stay open late and give roses to the ladies in attendance.
Heart Throbs, a collection of short pieces about the struggle to find romance, is on the playbill at the Lionheart Theatre in the nearby Norcross Cultural Arts and Community Center.
The Norcross Valentine's Wine & Dine will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Learn more at norcrossga.net.
