PETA members Demonstrate at CareerBuilder's Norcross Offices in Chimpanzee Outfits

Norcross, GA--  (submitted by PETA)

Holding signs that read, "I Don't Want to Be in Your DAMN AD," two PETA members in chimpanzee costumes lead a protest outside CareerBuilder Technology Headquarters in Norcross on Tuesday. What's the primates' point? That infant great apes used in the movies, TV, and advertising are torn away from their loving mothers prematurely and beaten into submission with pool cues and slap jacks to make them obey trainers' commands. They are forced to spend their lives in cages and on sets, leaving them lonely, confused, and neurotic.

FedEx Ground has been working on a nationwide network expansion to boost daily package volume capacity and further enhance the speed and service capabilities of its network, a company spokesman said.

FedEx Ground could develop the Norcross site into a major Southeastern hub that employs several hundred, with room for up to 1 million square feet of warehouse and distribution space. FedEx Ground would confirm only that it's building the distribution center. It offered no specifics about the project.

Estate Taxes and the New Tax Bill: More and Less Certainty

ESTATE TAXES & THE NEW TAX BILL - MORE AND LESS CERTAINTY

The estate planning measures passed in the Middle Class Tax Relief Act of 2010 beg the question "what do we do now?"  This new bill reinstates the estate tax with an exemption amount of $5 million dollars for an individual and a maximum estate tax rate of 35% on values above the exemption amount.  Married couples will have the ability to pass $10 million dollars of assets before any estate tax will be due.  In addition, all assets included in an estate will have their basis automatically "stepped-up" to fair market value.  This means that assets will likely have no capital gains tax if they are sold soon after death since their value is stepped-up.  The generation skipping tax exemption was also increased to $5 million dollars.

Does this mean that single persons with less than $5 million dollars and married couples with less than $10 million dollars no longer need to w
