NORCROSS, Ga. - - The defending 6A football champs haven't played a game yet but have attracted a lot of attention. Recruiters know what and whom they're looking for.

Coach Keith Maloof knows a lot depends on staying healthy.  Last year running back/receiver Myles Autry tore his ACL in the state semifinal game.  But there's no debating the Blue Devils will begin the season with a long list of college recruiting targets.

Some twelve to fifteen of his players have already received offers from varying levels of college programs.  Defensive end Lorenzo Carter is ranked by some services the top player in the nation at his position.

11 Alive spoke with Carter at a 7 on 7 practice session.  He just returned from a trip to Oregon, but says Florida is still his top college choice.
