The citizens and business owners attended a workshop at Winters Chapel United Methodist Church, where they studied maps and discussed ideas to make the cooridor safer.

Winters Chapel Road passes through Dunwoody and Peachtree Corners. Officials from both cities hope to see an increase in pedestrian safety and an enhanced appearance along the 2.5-mile stretch of road.

Engineering firm Pond & Company conducted a study that pinpointed the changes needed. The company will present its findings to the planning commissions of both cities when the study is complete.
