12 Gwinnett seniors win college-sponsored scholarships | Schools

GWINNETT CO., Ga. -- Twelve seniors in Gwinnett County Public Schools recently learned they will receive additional financial assistance for their college educations.
The students all earned the College-Sponsored National Merit Scholarship. They join a select group of only 2,900 students nationwide to receive the honor.
Winners are chosen based on their high school academic performance. Each scholarship is worth between $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study at a certain school.
