Weekend roadwork may affect traffic | News

ATLANTA -- The Georgia Department of Transportation has released a list of roadwork and closures through the weekend.
Clayton County
Two lanes of northbound and southbound Interstate 75/85 will be worked on between Mt. Zion Road and Old Dixie Highway. The work will happen from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
The leftmost lane of that same stretch of road will be worked on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Cobb County
Major work will happen on the exit ramp from I-75 to Barrett Parkway and I-575 from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
DeKalb County
One right lane of I-20 westbound east of Wesley Chapel Road will be worked on from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.

Fulton County
The Georgia 400 northbound exit ramp from Peachtree Road to Lenox Road will be worked on daily from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Gwinnett County
Two right lanes of northbound and southbound I-85 between Jimmy Carter Boulevard and Indian Trail Road will be worked on from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
Newton County
Three major closures may affect Newton drivers. The rightmost lanes of eastbound and westbound I-20 between State Route 11 and State Route 42 will be closed, beginning Monday, June 4. The exit ramp from I-20 west to State Route 42 will also be closed from 6 a.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday.
